Kevin Hill is the passionate founder and visionary behind New Wave Auto Sales, a trusted used car dealership proudly serving Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. His mission? To make car buying easy, exciting, and stress-free for every customer—no matter their credit situation.

Kevin’s journey in the automotive industry began with a memorable first car purchase that left a lasting impression. That experience sparked his desire to help others feel the same joy and confidence when buying a vehicle. Today, with over a decade of hands-on automotive experience, Kevin is a leading expert in auto financing, credit approvals, and vehicle selection—specializing in helping customers with all types of credit.

At New Wave Auto Sales, Kevin has built a dealership known for honesty, transparency, and unmatched customer care. He’s helped hundreds of customers get approved for car loans, trade in their vehicles, and drive away in reliable, high-quality used cars.

When he's not helping clients find their perfect ride, Kevin enjoys quality time with his wife Melissa, their son Bennett, and their two dogs, Kali and Thomas. He’s also an avid golfer and a die-hard fan of hockey, basketball, football, and (of course) golf.

Melissa Hill

Meet Melissa – Founder & Auto Financing Expert at New Wave Auto Sales

Melissa Hill brings nearly a decade of experience in automotive sales, finance, and leadership to her role as Owner at New Wave Auto Sales in Truro, Nova Scotia. Her career path includes progressive leadership roles across some of Canada’s top automotive and finance organizations, including The 401 Auto RV Group and LendCare. Known for her drive, strategic thinking, and deep industry knowledge, Melissa leads New Wave Auto with a focus on customer trust, team culture, and community connection.

Before co-founding New Wave Auto Sales in 2024, Melissa served as Regional Sales Manager for LendCare, overseeing finance operations across Atlantic Canada. She also held key management roles at The 401 Group, including General Sales Manager, Finance Director, and Subprime Finance Manager—where she built high-performing teams and helped thousands of customers get behind the wheel.

Melissa’s professional strengths include sales management, marketing strategy, customer service, and team leadership. She holds her OMVIC certification and is recognized for her hands-on approach and commitment to both customers and staff.

When she’s not at the dealership, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin (also her business partner), their son Bennett, and their two dogs, Kali and Thomas. Whether it’s camping, enjoying great food and wine, or relaxing in a hot tub with a cold beer, Melissa knows how to find balance between hard work and good living.

Say hello to Thomas, our beloved Black Mouth Cur and official Chief Happiness Officer here at New Wave Auto Sales! Known far and wide as a certified Good Boy, Thomas brings high energy, wagging tails, and smiles to everyone he meets.

When he’s not greeting customers or boosting team morale, Thomas enjoys his top hobbies: chasing squirrels, playing fetch like a pro, and taking long runs across the local golf course. He’s also a passionate canine foodie, with a taste for everything from crispy bacon to broccoli—especially if it’s dropped by his baby brother!

Thomas is famous around the dealership for his bottomless belly and lovable personality. Whether he’s curled up by the fireplace or stretched out on the couch, he’s always ready to snuggle, entertain, or brighten your day.

While he may not have sold a car (yet), he’s a vital part of the New Wave Auto Sales family. Loyal, lovable, and full of life, Thomas proves every day that happiness is best delivered with a wagging tail.

Whether she’s greeting guests at the door, spreading smiles in the showroom, or offering a tail wag and cuddle, Kali knows how to make every customer feel truly welcomed and valued. She’s more than just a team member—she’s family.

When she’s off-duty, you’ll find Kali doing what she loves most: swimming, playing catch, running through open fields, and of course, snuggling with her humans. She also gives out kisses—lots of them!
